FLAWSCAN™
4000 Paper is a modular high-end system for surface inspection applications
requiring 3 or more cameras, and is suitable for all demanding inspection
tasks involving small defects, low-contrast defects, large webs and high
speeds. The flexible architecture of the FLAWSCANTM system makes it relatively
easy to accommodate special customer requirements for analysis, display and
reporting.
FLAWSCAN ™ 4000 Paper General Features:
FLAWSCAN ™ 4000 Paper is a dedicated system for paper inspection
(cellulose and fluff pulp). It ensures reliable on-line inspection of 100 % of
your product and provides on-line roll mapping and off-line statistical
analysis. To inspect large webs, several FLAWSCAN™ systems can be easily
combined using a network architecture. All FLAWSCAN™ units are then controlled
by a master remote workstation that collects the defect information.
Typical Defects:
FLAWSCAN™ 4000 Paper can detect and identify several typical paper
defects, such as scratches, oil drops, dark spots, holes, wrinkles, etc. These
defects are detected regardless of whether they appear on textured ground or
not.
